Public Transportation: Public transportation to the conference center includes the Metra Electric train and the CTA King Drive #3 bus. From downtown, you can catch this bus going south on Michigan Avenue. For Metra train information, visit www.metrarail.com, click on Schedules and choose Metra Electric line. By taxi, the conference center is less than five minutes from the Loop.

Parking:  Conference participants may park in either LOT A (McCormick Place Convention Center Garage) or the Hyatt Hotel Parking Garage for $19 per car / per day. Hotel Parking Garage is attached to the hotel and is visible as you approach the entrance. In order to take advantage of the discount, be sure to pick up a validation coupon at any of the Opening Minds Information Desks before leaving for the conference.  (Coupon is for day parking only; overnight parking for hotel guests is available at regular rates).

FROM NORTHWEST OR O’HARE AIRPORT:
Follow I-190 East to I-90 East. This turns into I-90/94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A.

FROM THE WEST:
Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L, King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A

FROM MIDWAY AIRPORT OR THE SOUTHWEST:
Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A

FROM SOUTH OR INDIANA via I-80/ I-94:
From I-80/94 , exit at I-94 West (Bishop Ford Expressway) and proceed on I-94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exist 293D) and follow signs to Lot A

FROM INDIANA-SKYWAY:
Take I-90 West (Indiana Tollway) which turns into the Chicago Skyway. Merge onto I-90/94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and
follow signs to Lot A

FROM NORTH LAKE SHORE DRIVE (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive exit at 31st Street and turn right (west). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive and follow signs to Lot A.

FROM SOUTH LAKE SHORE DRIVE (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive exit at 31st Street and turn left (west). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive and follow signs to Lot A.

FROM CONGRESS PARKWAY:
From Congress Parkway turn right onto Michigan Avenue. Proceed south to Cermak Road (East 22nd Street). Turn left on Cermak Road. Then turn right immediately onto Prairie Avenue and follow signs to Lot A.
